Santa Fe High School- Whittier, CA

Bio: In our ever evolving digital world, Whittier High School District is keeping current with the classrooms of the future. The facilities department was tasked with a full remodel of a few classrooms and breakrooms into a fully functional Digital and Print Media Center. The facilities department handled 80% of the project in-house: from Sandblasting walls and painting, to installing lighting, AV systems, doors, countertops, and rewiring electrical. They did need professionals for a few things including HVAC, furniture, and of course flooring. We were happy to help develop the color pallette and pattern of floor and complete the install!

Canyon Springs High School- Moreno Valley, CA

Materials: Patcraft Metallix LVT, Burke Rubber Base

Bio: The Moreno Valley School District has been modernizing the entire district for the past 5 years and MCF has been lucky enough to be part of the transformation. This is just one of the many new buildings that have Moreno Valley can be proud of.

Oaks Middle School - Ontario, CA

Materials: Ecore Bounce 2, Endure Paint Striping, Taylor Resolute, Bentley Abrasive Action Walk Off Mat

Saddleback Church, Main Sanctuary- Lake Forest, CA

Materials: 2000 yards of Mohawk Urban Terrain Carpet Plank and a custom matching broadloom, 1900 LF of rubber stair nosing 5,000 SF of Mohawk Morikato LVT and 8000 SF of Concrete polishing. Along with 4500 SF New Dal-Tile Porcelain Ceramic Plank.

Bio: During the pandemic with inside services not allowed, Saddleback Church found a silver lining in the situation by completely revamping their unoccupied Main Sanctuary. MCF assisted by providing budgetary numbers on various options to assess cost and set budget, to making a finished colored plan. The project was set to commence with a tight completion date. Installation of Broadloom on the back stadium tiers and a waterfall install on the steps with VI inserts on each step. Carpet tile on the main floor. The front lobby was repolished to a 800 grit diamond resin finish. A Rubber millwork base over all flooring on main floor, and Porcelain planks installed compliments of Continental Tile.

Irvine Lakeview Senior Center- irvine, CA

Materials: Stilleto Strand Bamboo, 2” Uzin 157 Self Level with aggregate, Pemko Aluminum Thresholds, Stained to match pine corner guard.

Bio: The pre-existing wood was similar to that of a gym basketball court, solid wood sitting on wood sleepers. The new Bamboo flooring would adhere directly to the sub-floor this meant that the new wood flooring without sitting on the wood sleepers would sit a lot lower than the previous finish product. So we raised the concrete sub-floor elevation by two inches so the new flooring finish height would sit at the same as the previous product. We accomplished this by partnering with Uzin. Using the Uzin 157 self level along with washed river rock for aggregate and there heavy duty pump we where able to pour over 500 bags in one day raising the subfloor of 2,400 SF up two inches. We then came back after the cement based self level was cured and stared installing there finished Bamboo product.
